Not sure that you make any $$$ from relegation series. Been a long time since that happened.

Would rather have a shot at promoting. Only game I lost since back to back losses against DOW and AAS was the 2ot loss. Given GS and all that, I'd like my chances.

But given how the $#^$ up attendance mechanics works, I'm not sure it matters.

You do make money for relegation series. (like in playoff it's split between home and away team). I stick by my claim that you'll end up in a better position than the teams that get eliminated in 1R.

Now there is a separate question whether that's better than a 5% shot at promotion: I don't think it is, but reasonable people might disagree on this. (I don't mean the 5% estimate as a slight against your team: I think from the lower seeds it's very hard to break through. Of course if you had a path to a #1/#2 seed that would be different!)

Good win! It was disappointing to lose the PO match after winning both in-season matches (although one of them narrowly). But your team can't be beaten at this level if our in-principle rebounding advantage does not turn out to be a massive rebounding differential.

My team will need to do a better job in-season in securing HCA! Good luck to all the teams still in the running: may you all promote..

Thanks, team is peaking at the right time but i expect it will be a much different story on Saturday at Doc's house. It was a good game, you will be a force again next year.

As for me...I am probably going to tear it all down in the off season. Rebuild my FCP madness but eliminating some mistakes I made the first time and investing a serious amount of cash into my arena and facilities. Which needs to happen because I do not have the financial base to compete at the upper levels yet. So I am pretty much spinning my wheels till I do.

That may have been the biggest attendance I've ever had. And I had to split the gate :\

Good deal for Pitt, I guess

Would have taken my chances against NYC though. He hit a ridiculous amount of 3pt shots down the stretch to make the last game look closer than it was

I think unlike the finals you actually get money for all 3 relegation games. Punt the second game and win the third for max revenue.

187k For both games combined

208k for the last regular season game (which was a disappointing number)

My average receipt is 211k over the season

Probably better off not paying salaries next week

FWIW, 11 teams in the league had over 2 million in total gate revenues. 4 were over 2.6 million: SWA, NYC, 84T and me.

NYC had the highest one game receipt at 372k. Fans must have been pissed at you after that

Well I got 104k for half of my 1st round.

Anyway the playoff went HCA all the way. Now we'll learn which high roller get to leave us.
