I voted yes.
It would give me the chance to try out an entirely new strategy without blowing up my current team.
I've always thought it would be fun to have a true homegrown team. It will take awhile before they are good at all, but it would be fun to have the challenge of grooming what you are given (off the bat and in the drafts) into as formidable a team as possible.

And thats the only reason im against it.
It gives supporters an advantage.

Did you actually read what he wrote?
His different strategy is to build a team of totally homegrown players.
Where's the advantage there?
He's looking at a different sort of fun with this game, that's all.

I don't see the real advantage gained by this. It sounds like a great idea, especially with the "Utopia" for all 2nd teams. This would definitely cause me to renew my Supporter.

I believe that if BuzzerBeater lows a little bit the price of the supporter feature they will have a lot more of supporters. I would like to contribute to the BuzzerBeater with my money but the price is too high and it also could have a MONTHLY buy option like 3,99€ or something close to it.

Are you against private leagues as well then? Because it's basically the same "advantage". I think there are other very valid objections to the second team idea, but I'm not sure this is one of them in my mind.

I say no. I do not think it should be a supporter feature. I think every one should get a chance. Especially if the secondary team would have a chance to compete in leagues. That would give the supporters extra chances to win, which means promoting, which would mean they get more money to buy players. I think it is kind of unfair. And this would be a way to transfer money. So I say no.

Continue to think about this. I really like the idea of a second team with restrictions.

Being from a small country but with a number of active users that makes the first league mostly interesting, I do think it would be strange if someone from half way around the world, who has never lived in or been to Japan would become and be labeled as the Japan Champion. I think the Japan Champion should be from Japan.

On the other hand, I don't like the idea of a separate universe of play. I think the second teams should be in the same universe with the same player pools and with the opportunity to get to B3.

So, I think the only solution is to create some new "Seconds" countries for the second teams. I'd be happy to play in an "Asia Seconds" league or however else you want to organize the teams and second countries.

I agree with Iguanadon Joe. My first thought was the ability to create a homegrown team as well.

i agree with you. i know all the mistakes i made with my team regarding arena expansion and training my draftees and now have a better understanding of the game. i know that if i were in a smaller country i would welcome the competition. last season in division III in Canada i played against 9 bot teams and hated it. i've been a supporter almost from day one. i've played other sports management games and in my opinion this game is the best of them. thanks for your time.

Yep.. Agreed. I think they should implement a "college" system.. there is a post in the suggestion forums that explains this more...

I did read what he wrote- He also said he can try any new strategies he wants without blowing up his team, which in my opinion is a minor advantage. I didnt mean to sound so aggressive when i said- this is why.. My bad. I still think its a good idea dont get me wrong.
