I agree with Iguanadon Joe. My first thought was the ability to create a homegrown team as well.

i agree with you. i know all the mistakes i made with my team regarding arena expansion and training my draftees and now have a better understanding of the game. i know that if i were in a smaller country i would welcome the competition. last season in division III in Canada i played against 9 bot teams and hated it. i've been a supporter almost from day one. i've played other sports management games and in my opinion this game is the best of them. thanks for your time.

I say no. I do not think it should be a supporter feature. I think every one should get a chance. Especially if the secondary team would have a chance to compete in leagues. That would give the supporters extra chances to win, which means promoting, which would mean they get more money to buy players. I think it is kind of unfair. And this would be a way to transfer money. So I say no.

Yep.. Agreed. I think they should implement a "college" system.. there is a post in the suggestion forums that explains this more...

I did read what he wrote- He also said he can try any new strategies he wants without blowing up his team, which in my opinion is a minor advantage. I didnt mean to sound so aggressive when i said- this is why.. My bad. I still think its a good idea dont get me wrong.

I think it would be cool if they made a youth team. Like all players had to be U21. So basically like the national teams, except now everyone would have one. And all those youth teams would compete in a seperate U21 league. Then, when the players are good enough, or 22, or if you need them, then you could bring them up to your actual team. I don't know if I'm crazy, but I personally think that would be cool.

I know its not a favorite idea for the game overlords because it would likely mean creating a whole bunch of new code. However, it does not have to be complicated:

Allow for one inter-squad scrimmage per week.

Supporters already essentially get that with the Private League. It would create more interest in the draft and make it easier for a team carrying more than 12 players to get 48 minutes for everyone.

Yes, it would involve extra work, codes, players, and a lot of other stuff I didn't think about. But I think having a team of U21 players would be very interesting, and it would make the U21national teams much more entertaining. And as I forgot to mention earlier, I think the youth team, or any secondary team should be open to everyone, not just supporters.

I dont think they should make a "U21" team because thats almost like a special thing for national teams... I think there should be a youth league where the players only get 4 years and then they enter a random leagues draft..I have made a thread about this in the suggestions fourm.

Ohhhhh, I see what you were saying. That's kind of what I was saying. They create a second team for everyone, all those teams are put in a secondary youth league. Except I thought the youth league would consist of rosters that only held players who were 18-21. Then when they reach 22, the manager can sell them, promote them, or have them be put in a random draft. Were you thinking about a youth team with players that are younger than 18? So like, the players play on the team from 15-18, and then they go to the drafts? I think you should at least get a chance to keep your own players if you want right?
