I hear ya, though actually given my goals this season, this is gonna be a crucial stretch, and actually that home (for me) game against you in 10 days or so is gonna be the first game where this is absence is likely to hurt

It's ok. I ultimately like injuries being in the game because they reward contingency planning, which I enjoy.

But man when the BB gods decide to put their thumb on the scale and f*** with you it doesn't feel good

They have certainly tried to make tweaks to reward having more depth outside of the starting five for most teams, which was probably needed.

No, it does not. They sure did a number on my training plans and weekly minutes in my cup game. I was just curious about what type of in game injury causes a 1 week stomach bug. I am left imagining some player dunking a burrito down Horton's spacious gullet.

Yeah and that team is a bot

It happens sometimes. Probably won't last. There are a couple teams there that can do some damage.

The season really doesn't start until the 2nd time through. At that point, we've all played each other and most are out of the cup. It will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Given that my objective was to stay up without drama, I sure am happy that there is a 4 game cushion between my team and fifth place

Btw on the PD issue. Big 8 is obviously stronger in the middle-low slots, and I'm glad I'm not in that fight, but half of us have not yet gotten to eat against the bot team.

Sorry for the CT. Once I decided to punt the rest of the season, this became effectively my last match in which I was in any sense trying to win. And I knew it was gonna be tough to win even with a CT. Either way I figured you'd be happy to know there wasn't going to be a real challenge for the #2 seed ...
