Yeah, I was trying to figure out if it was a FIBA rule too, but I guess from your reply that it's not. Yes, in the NBA if you don't shoot the FT's you can't come back.

Yeah, I was trying to figure out if it was a FIBA rule too, but I guess from your reply that it's not. Yes, in the NBA if you don't shoot the FT's you can't come back.

„Years ago“ the FIBA rule was: if you can‘t shoot that moment and had to rest, anyone could shoot … but you were able to continue „later“.

I am not shure if they changed it.

Regard to FIBA -

You can go back to play and it has nothing to do whether you shot the FTs or not, and that rule hasn't changed.
I'm a basketball referee.

I have been referee … loooooooong ago.

We had the 1+1-FT-rule 🤪

Btw. started playing Bball when i was 12 … which is only a couple of years (37 🤪) ago … nothing in dinosaures years 😇
