Hello, I'm also a new user. I suggest you try different defensive tactic to see how it fairs. I'm currently using man to man.

defensive tactics should depend on your opponent. If you have a strong inside defense it doesn't matter if they are an outside shooting team. In that case you would want to play 3-2 zone or 1-3-1 zone. Take a look at the last couple games your opponent played and see what offense they run and also take a look at who their best players are.

my opponent has good SG/Sf/PF I mean that my opponent's outside scoring is high because of the SG and SF also there is a real treat inside because there is a PF which scoring nearly 10 - 15 points per game. so, to cover the both sides inside and outside treat as a defense which defensive tactic should I use

3-2 or 1-3-1

I would imagine from your description and a quick look at his players and staff that a balanced defense would be best (man to man) or if you are truly bold, full court press...
