Shizuoka, Japan -- After 9 seasons with the Suns, Artemio Rosalia will take his talents off to Australia. "We have to let him go," Suns GM Maro said. "we are operating (-) for the past x years."
In a rare interview, owner Yo Chi said, "he was our best player by far. Art was a homegrown talent and we did everything we can to develop him and surround him with competent players."
Beyond stats and contributions, the management reflected on the sale, "perhaps we need to change our strategy as it's very to difficult to compete with an All-Filipino lineup. We have the resources, we enjoy how we run things, but Division II.1 is a difficult league akin to the Philippine Premiere League - which we have been a part of - and it takes more than resources and luck, more often, foreign players to compete in that level."
As for plans this season, "We need to operate in the (+). Relegating is not out of discussion."
