In Austria we just organized a suvey and about 80% are upset about a merge for Austria.

That is far from true, please don't exaggerate.

Eigenständige Liga und eigenständige NTs 5 31,3%
Zusammenschluss mit anderen kleinen Nationen 2 12,5%
Eigenständig bleiben + BBB neu für mehr Teilnehmer 9 56,3%
Zusammenschluss + BBB neu für mehr Teilnehmer 0 0,0%

"Far away fom true" ???? I don´t want to be called a liar! As you can see above 87,6% don´t want to merge! And I also wrote that they are not against any changes.
So, I cannot see anything false in my statement!

Please do the math. I never called you a liar or whatever you accuse me of.

We have 54 users, 16 participated in the poll, which itself is - at least from my point of view asking the wrong questions.

30% of our community do not represent the whole nation, so maybe if we asked everybody the relust would look different. In addition 9 people voted for a reformed BBB, which by itself is not part of the current merger discussion.

For All BB Staff,

I thought we have addressed this by creating Utopia league to solve the competitiveness issue on minor countries, which I still have to donate my breakfast to BB once a year to get this experience. I've been with BB since 2009 and still haven't got bored until today due to its Country based uniqueness which emphasized real time feel on this game.

Cheers,
Ben

I´m very good in maths.

In every election the number of participants count! You also can do a statistical projection which would not change the trend.

Here's what I propose. I have repeated several times in many topics...

I've seen your proposal before Ebene and there's nothing wrong with it, but may I ask why you want to stop at national tournaments only when you could potentially have increased competition in league play as well?

Because I don't want my country to disappear from BB. It is to my mind a fair compromise.

But pretty bad, when it comes to designing a poll. Your questions were tendentious and thus the results are biased. I explained to you in our national forum, which earned me nothing but name-calling profanity. I am always interested in a lively discussion, but we reached a point where it has become useless to discuss further if no polite way of dealing with each other can be found.

hello, i dont mind merging the leagues with other countries as long as:

- the merging is based on something clear (not random, for example, language, so countries with different languages wont merged togheter)
- number of players, not merging a 5 teams country with a 80 team country, so it won be overwhelmed in forums or something
- keep national flag, national teams, keeping only teams for one nation vote for the NT managers, and drafted players are from same nation
- dont make anything weird, like letting people from other countries, or having second or third teams in our merged leagues for whatever reason, problably fake one
- and if you really want to make competitions harder and NT better, apply experience for tactics so you wont be able to play anything anytime without training it before, and enforce some rule of number of domestic players in the starting 5 or lineup

I propose we merge micronations if following way: Make top divison shared, keep lower divisions national.

+1000.

My honest opinion is that this simply isn't an issue that can be fixed easily and really is difficult to envision a fair and proper solution absent a reboot of the entire game world, which is entirely unpractical, or a new parallel game world, which is mostly unpractical and a lot of work for development staff.

I think if that if something were to be done, though, a continental SuperLeague structure is probably the way to go. Not just for the micros, though it would give them something to aim for, but for every continent. Heck, maybe even a World SuperDuperLeague made up of champions of the continental leagues as well.

There are a metric ton of balancing issues and mechanical issues regarding promotion and relegation of the different nationalities that would need to be fixed; it's easy to have 1 team promote from each of four national leagues, for example, but if three of the four teams demoting are from country A, they can't all go back easily to the national league.

Still, I think of the ideas I've seen now that I let myself read this, I personally like yours the best.

Personally I dont think that the merge will solve the issue. I may be wrong.....
Why not make a test it with some volunteer countries and then check the results....if it works then we discuss using this method for merging other nations....
