Well Mickyster who is coach of the U21s and who answered your post, is best to ask.
Myself I quite like him, but I agree with Mickyster he is about 4 pops short on his passing and maybe 1 pop short on OD.
Mickyster who has a knowledge of what other prospects are on the radar, and if you asked him he would give you an honest answer as to whether he has no chance of making the U21s team
If he was out of contention then depending on what the other training requirements are of your other trainees, I would strongly consider taking another tact with him.
It would be slow work and you might only get 4 or 5 pops doing it because of his height, but if you trained ID all next season, he would get to 9 or 10 in ID.
Hard slow work, but you would have an incredibly handy salary efficent player who could hold down SF in Div III or be a handy back up in higher grades.
If you decided to sell him at the end of next season or better yet the start of the season after, he would probably sell for a mill
