Happy all-star week everyone! Looks like there’s a few contenders this season. Plus a battle royale brewing for the 4 seed in the Big 8, and the last two playoff spots in the Great 8. Good luck to everyone in the back half of the season, and hopefully the scouting goes well for those making the investment.

Time for the home stretch now after the Big 8 dominated inter-conference play with a 56-8 record including 31-1 at home. The battle for 4th place in the big 8 is going to be tight. And although I do feel like the favorite to win the tittle there are teams that I think could challenge me for it. And not to forget about the Great 8, with Rostah looking to be the favorite again in the conference. Could someone lower down pull the upset. Looking forward to see how this all ends.

Phew! Lucky to steal one from brooklyn while his starting pg was out. Glad to see Knölling has found a solid role in Clarksville as well. He was the very first player I acquired when I started back up a few seasons ago.

I know it's not very likely, but it sure would be nice to ascend to league II after this season. League III.13 should be nothing more than a rung on the ladder towards making it to bigger and better things, but alas it's frighteningly becoming more like home with each passing season.

With the exception of Organization XIII in the gr8 8, and my squad, nobody else in the gr8 8 is ready to serve as a viable competitor to the likes of any team in the big 8, especially the likes of teams like Pittsburgh Pressure and AZ Sunburn. Pittsburgh Pressure has no business in league III, except as a layover. My squad performed excellent in the cup this season, advancing all the way to round 8, in which only 32 teams still stood to vie for the title, my team being one of them. Well, AZ Sunburn made it past round 8, all the way to round 9, in which only 16 teams remained, undefeated in their individual runs at the cup. That's an incredible feat for a league III team. ANY league III team, period.

Oh, and as if that's not intimidating enough, AZ Sunburn is ALSO the only team to beat Pittsburgh Pressure at all so far this season, handing them their only loss.

My prediction is that whoever wins the big 8 will very, very likely win the championship series for our league this season. I'm sure that whether it's us or Organization XIII that big 8 contender competes with in the championship series, that they'll have their hands full. Unfortunately for myself and ZobliviousZ, manager of Org. XIII, it likely won't be enough and we'll have to give it another go in season 66. I'm not trying to be a negative character here, I'm just being real and honest with myself. I'd love to be proven wrong and be pleasantly surprised by squashing all of you handily this post season, but that definitely, DEFINITELY, remains to be seen. One thing's certain: time will tell, it always does.

Good luck managers! The competition is stiff and we're all going to need some amount of luck I'm sure to end up on top and advance on to II.

I must say I think you are underestimating yourself a bit here Rostah. Sure the big 8 was definitely better than the Great 8 and my team overpowered relatively speaking. Also I am writing this after Sunburn fell to Gloryboyz. The biggest thing I think you are mistaken on is incentive. After beating Brooklyn in the regular season finale I secured auto promotion to D2. In other words, I will be in D2 regardless of the playoffs. And because of that I actually have reason to intentionally lose to Gloryboyz. Now I have not decided if I will do that, but if I do and you play Gloryboyz in the finals, you have decent chance of winning it. To be fair I expected it to be Sunburn to beat me, as you mentioned they beat me earlier this season, but the playoffs are not as clear cut as it may seem.

I think Organization XIII is getting slept on heavily. Their depth might be problematic, but that top 7 is really, really good. A lot of their losses came at a time where they were massively underperforming relative to where they are now. AZ got super unlucky with the injuries to Carter and Kulacs, and there aren’t any matchups that seem like cakewalks between the remaining teams, but I think Organization XIII has a very real chance to win it all.

Edit: No matter what happens, the league could look completely different next season. New 8 seed in the B8, new 5-8 seeds in the G8, and new champion spot are normal. On top of all that though if Phoenix doesn’t log in by Monday he goes bot, and if Pressure were to tank (not saying you should or pressure you to do so, only floating the idea because it was mentioned), that would add a second promotion spot as well. In short, that would be up to 8 new teams next season. Oh, and Dachshunds completely overhauled their roster at the end of the season, so that will very much feel like a new team as well.
