That's what I hear, but it doesn't make sense that a key skill be rendered useless just because the coach wants his entire team to work on that skill. I'm wondering why it was designed that way.

To add to this, my experience was that two position training six players got me more total training pops than single positioning three guys would (plus any of the trainings that default to two positions obviously aren't hurt). I have a feeling you'd get even more total training for three positions with nine players, but I only did a three position training week once in an offseason week to get some final OD pops. I think the team training would be a very interesting experiment. I presume that with close to perfect minutes the total amounts again for team training would be more still.

I came close to doing that with my Utopia team this time around as well, before deciding to just go two positioning with this group because I want to get some skills relatively high for what I'm trying to do there.

It is an option people have not explored. I would not rule it out though. I have THOUGHT about doing it with my Utopia team a few times. Just grabbing up a bunch of allstars at around 18/19 and team training them for 8 seasons.

I sort of did.
I used to almost never do single position training until a season or 2 after making it to D2. It was mostly a combination of 3 position training (PG/SG/SF or SF/PF/C), team training (like passing or rebounding or my favorite... OUTSIDE SHOOTING FOR TEAM!), and a little bit of 2 position training sometimes.

But BB was kind of different back then. I remember my leader scorer my first season in D2 was a $13k guard... and he came off the bench! Arguably my 2nd best player was a TL pickup with 15 blocking but only 7 inside shot. (Wish that guy could've lasted til after they made all the changes to blocking).

I'd like to, but for reasons I cannot explain there is no option to Team Train in key areas: OD and ID being two of those areas. It makes no sense. What team tells all but six guys on the roster to forget about showing up for practice for weeks at a time? I assumed there was some logical reason, hence the post. Thanks for your input guys. Here's wishing that feature can be added in some future update.
