imo sticking with players who can reach 50k+ salaries is enough in the BB universe, isnt it?


Maybe it is now, in small countries, but in the future I think you're going to have trouble making it to the top divisions with a 50k centre, for example. There are changes coming to merch and tv revenue that are going to make 100k+ players more affordable.

Hi, those numbers are not the ones I did, you can fin the true numbers here.

GrFlur maybe tried to post the old one (I did one when the potentials appeared), it was close with the low potentials but definitevely failed with high potentials (I didnt guess that the curve was as exponential as it was).

Those are the numbers translated:

bench warmer - 8k
role player -13k
6th man - 15-17k
starter - 21-24k
star - 33-40k
allstar - 40-65k
perennial allstar - 80-100k
superstar - 125-145k
MVP -165-195k
hall of famer - Unknown
all-time great - Unknown

I did this table after following hundreds of players training and their development. It was made 3 months ago, now I would correct the low potentials, I would say that bench warmers, role players and 6th man are a little bit over their real limits. They reach their cap earlier, maybe 3-4k earlier.

Do you know, if height fastens players development to the cap or it biggers the cap. For example: If i have two players, one is 196cm and the other is 226cm( training inside skills ), both have equal potential, so are they both capable of reaching 50k for example or the 226cm guy can reach 60k or he will just reach the cap faster due to his bonus from his height.

with same cap, they will reach the cap at the same point of development ;)

But because the 2.26 reach it earlier, and still trains faster after the cap he will maybe reach the 60k while the "small" guy just hit the cap with 50 k.

Yes, I asked the people to inform each time that the analized player got a pop. When the player reached his potential limits just had a pop each 6-7 weeks, so it was easy to see "when" a trainee got the cap. I follow even Aristides Iktens trainings, an MVP who was the most waged player in BB last season (capped when he was close to 200k).

Its not a professional study, I used also Josefs Kas formulas to define the virtual wage of the players that got capped in middle season. After analyzyng lots of players I got this table. Its not exact, but is close, and can help the people, I think.

I also noticed some curious things, for example most of the PG had higher caps than most of the SF (both with the same potential, of course). An all-star PG can pop (without cap) when he is 50k, and I have never seen an Allstar SF that can pop when he is 48k+

i could confirm that, i got two guard with nearly the similiar skills and allstar*, one of them i got from 46k salary to 60k the other didn't reach the 50k with the same training and 45k base salary with much less pops.

Perhaps there are sub-levels for Potential too... It would be kind of logical...
