It’s good, right? The last two seasons I’ve played in comps where there were realistically 2-3 genuine contenders out of 16. I feel like there’s 10-12 this season who, pending injuries and list management late season, could promote. In fact, it would not surprise me at all if one or more of the sides in the top 4 right now end up relegating after a bottom 4 side surges late in the season.

No. There are only 2 teams that can win it and they are both in the same division. I could have contended, but would spend everything to not demote next season so I want to draft a trainee to build my next ABBL run around.

There are teams with a worse record than me despite the fact I'm on an all out tank. And I'm on the strong side of the draw. That shows you the depth of this league...

I see what you’re saying. Our side had 3 promotions, I believe, including myself. So I guess with yourself and Melbourne on the rebuild (tank) it becomes a battle of who wins your half as to who promotes. Still, on our half of the draw the race to play offs and to avoid relegation will be interesting at least. It’s a nice change after a comp with only 4 live players, 3 of which were on the one side of the draw. Hopefully whoever makes the playoff from our side makes it a little interesting at least.

Personal challenge for my side this time around. My first attempt at Div 2 in 2018 saw me take on Trololo twice, for a 20-ish point loss and a 50-ish point loss. Based on that I'd say if I get within 20 points on Tuesday I'm calling it a win! I reckon I'd only have one player left on my roster from that season, mind you. I'm also hoping to not lose the rebounds by 30+ like the previous times we've met!

In fact, the only count I've ever beaten Trololo in is fouls! I had WAY more last time around.

Don't waste your balls in this seasons draft. Not a single 5/5 star 18 year old. Only one 5/5 19 year old (only A grade rating) I found with the 78 balls I spent before deciding it's better to tank again next season.

That said, there's probably no point next season either. I get shit on every single draft I scout.
