I used to be a fan of Koops... Until he injured 2 of my starters in the final game of the season, making me lose my relegation series and sending me back to div III

-_-

It's been real II.4, hopefully I come back here after promoting.

Also I'm kidding, I still love Koopasauras, I'm just a little salty lol

Haha fair enough.

So, you are planning on a big Season 69 then, Solesky?

EDIT: Just realised you were referring to your relegation. Maybe you'll be joining me?! :-)

I hope not lol.

Would be nice if I can just 22-0 and head back up to Div II, especially since my trainees will become expensive in season 70.

I remember when I first played this game back in season 12, I was stuck in div III.7 for many seasons. It still haunts me to this day...

I understand your pain. Mind you, I had a very different Div III experience having played since Season 14. I have won more than 10 Div III Titles. I would regularly bounce from II to III just to try and train and build finances.

Since my return a few seasons ago (S64) I have vowed not to do that...and then I won a Div III title quickly in my second season. lol

As a new HG team, bouncing back to III after getting to II again...will hopefully never happen again. Mind you, it will take a couple more seasons before I have to worry about that.

I think less teams in AU means less competition in Div III. From what I remember, only the first 8 or so Div III leagues have actual human players in them.

Geez, great playoff series with nothing in the first 2 games. I thought the Wolves might sneak it in 2...

...but Jay had other plans. Nice work, Kira...damn, hard to get my head around that name after seeing You Shouldve Dunked for so many seasons! I do like the new name.

Hey, OTT, why did you change your name? Just curious. I can't talk, changed my team name 7 times over the years before deciding this is it!

Anyway, enough dribbling from me.

Good luck to both of you today. I think I'll watch this one.

EDIT: @Wolfman...glad to see Rufu will be back for your decider.

I'll admit that my management skills this season were shockingly grim, and in any other situation I would've been swept or not even made the finals. But team I just had was just so strong that I could pull a DBZ villain move, actually use 100% of my power, and win away after losing at home. I don't usually like to brute force a division title like this, but I also really didn't want to lose any of my draftees who are just starting to get really good and could be the backbone of an ABBL titlewinner.

I see I left a big legacy as You Shouldve Dunked in this game. Sometimes I miss the old name myself, but I also don't regret changing it as I had been thinking of taking a new team name for a while and wanted to rep one of my favourite VTubers; https://www.youtube.com/@KosekiBijou

The VTuber subgenre of streaming has been a major source of entertainment for me these past 4-5 years, which is also how the 2nd team got called Yubi Yubi. I made peace with the fact that some people (but hopefully not most) are always going to think I'm weird no matter what I do, so why not be fully open about what I like?

Haha. I love it! Hey, you got the job done; that's the main thing.

As for the name change...mate, that's cool. I must confess I have no idea who you are referencing but maybe I'll check it out. As for being weird...that's just a poor man's word for unique!

G'day all, sorry for crashing your page.
For those of you who don't know me I'm the current National Team manager for Aus (thanks for the recent re-election). I'm going to pop this message into a lot of the league boards seeking some feedback. I'd like to set up a bit of a think tank about what a "modern" National team build/squad/training plan might look like to help push our National team a little higher. I think it's fair to say despite having a reasonable squad in terms of what had traditionally been the desired builds for a National player we're not getting over the line in some wins I feel we should, so I'm looking to do some knowledge gathering in the off-site forum and brainstorm how we can push the National team a little higher in the rankings and win some silverware again.

If you'd like to be involved shoot me a DM (or if you are already linked into the off-site for the National Team jump on and share your ideas).
I've started posting some skill sets of National Team players from other sides as they come up for sale in the off-site forums to get a comparison of what some of the more recently successful nations are doing just for a point of reference.

Would love some feedback.

Good luck this season!

Deano
