I don't care about Utopia, I really don't, and I wouldn't use it as an example of anything.

For me it seems that more long-time-manager leaving BB now (after the demotivating Micro-Nation-Debate) than in the last 5 years.

People have been leaving ever since I first signed up for the game. So it would be possible to argue that my arrival is why people are leaving. (Perpete might like that one.) I disagree however. I think there are many reasons people leave. I don't claim mergers will stop people leaving. I'm not convinced anything will.

So, truly it´s a fact, that nobody can say what will happen ... but many manager say so ... especially the loud ones ;-)

Can't argue with that at all. I actually started looking at factual numbers of people leaving just because people were speaking so loudly. If I am one of those loud managers now, then I'm very sorry indeed. :-)

I think there were one or two users who left for other reasons, so you're off the hook. ;)

(Actually, I just wanted to point out my personal appreciation that you're not falling into the fallacy of assuming that X feature/bug/situation that you're displeased with is the cause of people leaving. I of course expect sound reasoning from you, so I shouldn't be surprised, but it's still nice enough that it actually spurred me to post.)

Didn't notice anything in the news post about the draft. Does that mean the draft will be the same for an entire continent as it is for a country? Does it seem fair that one or two countries in Africa might be lucky enough to get an NT viable trainee and the others will likely have to make do with lesser potentials? Seems completely wrong to me.

You can't compaire population with skill. Each country have their basketball system and as you can see, USA have the best one in real life. ;) Population doesn't matter. Lithuania, Latvia are small countries, but they are good at basketball, hockey and other sports. ;)

Basically i was just teasing you guys for acting like Marin destroyed the African NTs with the merge. You're making a big thing out of a disadvantage that is minor compared to the fact how small their countries are. If the merge leads to more African teams it will in the long run benefit their communities and NTs.

So basically your attitude is "they're only small nations, why bother?"

And don't complain I'm misrepresenting what you said, since you've just done that to me.
