Smaller nations seem to be happy with their leagues.

I would say the smaller nations are very different. Some are unhappy, but merging with the wrong nations is even worse than the current state, so they might be against any change.

Some are happy, because they have found a way to be successful enough while being challenged to a certain degree that fits their expectations.

I'd be much happier in a big nation, but many Austrians, don't want a change. It feels like flipping a coin would be the best way to decide.

I think its clear that whatever is decided, there will be many people who don't like it. Which possibly makes it easier for the BBs to do whatever they feel is right for the game, since there'll be complaints whether they decide its heads or tails.

Whatever happens is a gamble.

Carry on as things are and keep haemorrhaging users or make changes to micronations to increase new user retention but that might just make committed micro managers leave.

Shame we cant hear from managers who signed up then left after realising they were competing with very few real people.

Well, there are quite a few that have quit and signed up again... And feel it is very refreshing that they consider this merge. To keep the interest it is a must to have competition. There is no other way than a merge. The question is on what terms.

There may not be unanimity here. As a nation, we would like to be part of a larger group. Our only objection was that, historically, we have identified more with SE Asia than the Middle East

Since when?

I am EXTREMELY unhappy with my micronation league.

I know there are some who like it. Some people like stealing candy from babies too. Doesn't make it right.

Oh Man, you´re the loudest with the most frequent postings in this thread.
There are some other guys in BB ..... maybe with another point of view! And, maybe there´s a difference between "so salled" micronations too. Some of them have 1,2,...5, ... 10 ... users, some have 50 users.

For me Utopia is boring .... I´m playing there but without any interaction with other managers.

The interaction between managers in Austria had a steep decline in the last years and almost stopped after the micronation discussion escalated. I don't think a merger will improve this, but at the same time it can't be worse.
