Well, one was played on friday and the other on saturday, so I don't know how much of a difference there was..I think not that much at all.

Exactly. I don' t think one day's worth of less enthusiasm can lower both ratings by a whole level (at least I hope not).

This team can help you.

(75406)

He always plays PIC in league, and he uses to play in the same way most of the matches, you can see the effects of the PIC if you compare his league rantings with his LP ratings (in the scrinmage uses different players).

I did read the posts - I just made a bad decision and I'm glad I was able to correct it.

A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

So TIE and CT pretty much make up for homefield advantage.

It is nice that you have shared this information with us.
Conclusions should be taken carefully:
- A lot of good teams often play TIE, and probably not many bad teams TIE to save enthusiasm (that's part of being bad...).
- Good teams almost never CT, and surely much less than bad teams.
- Good teams, who often TIE, have higher enthusiasm.
- Everybody who CT, do it to beat a better team.
- Enthusiasm effect in average teams should be usually around 5.
- Few teams will TIE when they know they are going to loose, because most people thinks they have a great team (particulary true in Spain).

As a conclusion, I think TIE-N (50%-50%) and N-TIE (72%-28%) statistics probably overestimate significantly the amount of games being won with TIE.
Similarly, although probably in less extension can be said of CT-N (77%-23%) and N-CT (48%-52%).

The first issue is the effect of TiE and CT. What I'd say here is simply to remind you that under the old system, when you played CT or TiE it would make your ratings go up, but under the new system, it does not.

Sorry if I insist on this once more, but after tonight's games it looks again impossible to me that TiE and CT do not influence the ratings.
These are the last two spanish games (the first one is a TiE and the second a CT).

There should not be any home court advantage in the second, as the games were played in Italy.
I know that the second game is with a slightly higher enthusiasm and with different players... but still...
