Hi!
> First of all congratulations for winning NT coach competition.
Thank you, as a matter of fact it was a close battle with a lot of arguments.
> 1. What is your NT goal in this season.
Well, it would be better to talk about what it was. We wanted to qualify for the European Championships as we managed to achieve it two seasons ago. We were defeated by Slovakia last Monday, so 3rd place in the group is a more realistic aim now. I have taken responsibility for creating a new team of improving youngsters for the last seven seasons (4 seasons as a scout and 3 seasons as a national coach). I will make some changes next season and will countinue to put new players in and build a new team.
> 2. Wchich pleace you think your NT place in table for the end of group faze?
As I told you before, 3rd place is realistic, 2nd place will be a wonder.
> 3. Who in your opinion will win Europen Championchip in BB?
I think you have the biggest chance as the current title holders. But we should not forget that the home advantage means a lot in the BB nowadays and Turkey may upset some of the top teams.
> 4. "What part of this game you like the most?"
Training is always the most important part of the game for a scout and a national coach, it is always great to see players improving as they are gradually becoming national selected players.
> 5. Who is the best player in BB?
There are a lot of very good players, but I should not be a national coach if I did not mention a Hungarian player here, let it be Róbert Böcz who as a matter of fact plays for a Polish team.
> 6. In this year Poland organizes with Ukraine Europen chamionships in football. Who will win competitions? You think Poland Qualify for the second round?
Well, I have to say that you were lucky with the draw, all the other three groups are much stronger. However, I think Russia and Greece have the nose in front of you, but we should never forget that you have the home advantage.
> 7. What do you known about Poland? Do you know someone from a Poland?
You know, ours is a small country, we know a lot more about larger countries and their history than they know about ours. As a fan of many sports, Adam Malysz used to be one of my favourite athletes, I hope he will have at least as much success in his private life as he had as a ski jumper. I am a great fan of biathlon and I can still remember Tomasz Sikora's fantastic shooting which earned him several podium finishes including an olympic silver and a world championship gold.
> 8. If i wants to visit your country, what you think i shall visit?
Budapest and Lake Balaton.
Thank you for the interview.
Good luck to you in your campaign.
kaygee (Hungarian national coach).
