Press Announcements

A win, finally

After going through some rough patches, we have managed to pull out a victory. Finally, some would say. The coaching staff however, had no doubt at all, that they would be able to turn this thing around after the start they had. Fortunately for us, and unfortunately for Bolle Boeren, a missed free throw by Cornello led to a win for the franchise. It was the sufficating defense that led to him missing the crucial free throw. After the miss, the game was over and Talentinho were allowed to celebrate their first victory in div. 2.4 It was a celebration that shan't be forgotten soon, however the players and coaches realised, this is just the start. We must persevere in trying to improve our players and continue to excel on the tactical front. Only that way, is the way we can achieve succes as long as our players aren't on the same level as some of the top-flight players are.

Furthermore, we are pleased to announce that the franchise has finally moved on past the first round of the cup, one they have been struggling with to get out of. The next opponent will be The Dutch Delight, a team with a lot of potential. A team that relegated from division II.4 last season. A team that we feel we must beat. However, during cup games, things tend to differ a bit from what we expect them to do, and they do have home-court, so it will most certainly not be a walk in the park. Next up during regular season will be CSP. A team that must be beaten, in order for us to prevail among the top 4 teams in our division. This will be a daunting task, but as long as they won't go all out to beat us, we will be most likely to have the upper hand.

And on a final note, the franchise has shown much appreciation towards Klaas-Jan Bartels, for becoming MVP in the III.4 and showing the audience one of many positive sides of the Talentihno-franchise.
