Bowling Green - The Shark Tank was packed with 9,538 brave souls who came to witness aquatic dominance, but instead got a lesson in Gremlin mischief as the visiting squad from Parts Unknown handed the Bowling Green Sharks a 120-92 loss that left fins flapping and egos bruised.
Despite the scoreboard resembling a video game set to “Easy Mode” for the Gremlins, the Sharks showed flashes of bite. Adam Phipps and Nomedas Mikulskas each dropped 16 points. Meanwhile, Andrea Alessi led all scorers with 21 points, but it was Teodor Neumaier who stole the show and the Player of the Game honors with a double-double: 14 points, 12 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 blocks. Rumor has it he also blocked three post-game interviews with that same intensity.
Next up, the Sharks hit the road to face the UConn Huskies (13-7) on Tuesday, September 23 at 7pm. Fans are encouraged to bring a healthy fear of well-trained dogs.
