Bowling Green - The San Antonio Spurrs (4-13) arrived at The Shark Cage looking for an upset, but unfortunately for them, the Bowling Green Sharks (17-0) weren’t in the mood for sharing. In front of a season-high crowd of 7,214 frenzied fans, the Sharks feasted on their prey, delivering a merciless 117-38 thrashing that sent the Spurrs scrambling for higher ground.
Nomedas Mikulskas put on an absolute clinic, leading all scorers with 22 points and earning Player of the Game honors. He also swiped six steals, swatted three shots into the abyss, and kindly distributed three assists—because even apex predators share… sometimes. The Spurrs’ Van Chen did his best to stay afloat, posting a respectable 18 points.
The Sharks turn their attention to the road, where they’ll face the yellowStars (4-13) on Saturday, June 7 at 7 p.m. Expect the oceanic carnage to continue.
