Rebels head to All Star break with a new look squad

The Hendersonville Rebels head into the All Star break in Season 67 with a new look and tenuous hold on the final playoff spot in the tough Big 8. General Manager Dale Brown announced a few weeks ago that superstar Peres Companys would be sold off as the Rebels made the commitment to go with younger talent like Des "Gunner" Bunn and Al Rosen at the 2 guard position. Bunn who was taken in the same draft as the phenom Moshe Skutt, has been developing slowly all along, but coach Chad Johnson and GM Brown felt like now was the time to bring him along.
"We needed to make a move, not just salary wise, but with Bunn to let him know we believed in him and to give him the crucial game experience he needs to further his development." Said Brown.
The Rebels were reeling a few weeks ago with some big loses in the Division as well as a stunning cup loss to a team that they should have beaten, however over the last few weeks the new lineup has started to gel and the Rebels are looking strong ...
