Can someone remind me of what the level of 'potential' draft balls equate to for actual Potential?

Eg. 5 ball potential = MVP to All-Time-Great etc

Does anyone know where the suggested breakdown for the balls is?

Thanks in advance.

As far as I know it should be:
1 ball: bench warmer(1) - role player (2)
2 balls: 6th man(3) - starter (4)
3 balls: star(5) - all-star (6)
4 balls: perennial all-star(7) - superstar (8)
5 balls: MVP(9) - Hall of famer (10), in rare cases all-time great(11)

I'm not quite sure if the announcer(0) potential would also be a rare case of 1 ball potential.

Looks pretty good, LennuK.

I believe potential 0 is not a thing, you cannot draft such player

Yeah, potential 0 is included in the game manual but I did not know what the case with it was, so nice to have it cleared up.

Very well to know for a beginner, thanks a lot!

Can I ask what the ratings (A+, A, A- and so on) are for?

Thanks in advance - and sorry if this question was asked 1000 times before

According to the game manual: "...you now have a very good understanding of this player's current skills (grade rating)...".

In my understanding this should show the distribution of the skill points on the player and thus how high their salary for the displayed position is. Some information is provided here (197189.2), though I'm not sure if there have been any changes to this system since.

Yes, something significant:

Since 19-year-olds have been upgraded and can have starting skills up to 9 (or 9.9 including subskill) this means that the salary of 19-year-olds with an A+ can be significantly higher. I've seen 19-year-old drafties earning 12-15k.

Iirc there was also a potential called BB developer? I do remember seeing it. But since announcer is 0 I can't imagine what value it was.
