19 Year-old rookie sensation, Lee 'Mr D' Donoghue, finished the season averaging 8.0 assists per game, the 3rd best in the league. "Yeah, the coach has a lot of trust in me," Donoghue told fans recently. "We are trying to build the right Home-Grown foundations for the club, and I have been lucky to get some good playing time. We won't be Home-Grown until season 70, but we are on track to have a great team by then."
"This kid is outstanding," the coach said of Donoghue. "The Irish National U21 NT has already engaged him in conversations as a 19 year old," a beaming coach continued. "He will be the general on the floor for the HG team we are building. Hopefully we can draft some support to help him out. Tiger fans should be excited as the future of our HG team looks bright!"
