Currently starting lineup is formed of players aged 61-75, and youngest player of roster of 12 is 46 ;)

I have kept my full lineup for each match the same, only varying the tactics in each one. It will be interesting to see what comes of it.

Definitely my most exciting roster in a long time. Heck, I might seem overly serious sometimes, but I also play this for fun. And in often cases you don't get to the fun part as often as you'd like as you have to concentrate on winning, training, etc.

I think I'll use Push the ball and Full court press in that 6PM match. I think my oldies but goldies are in a good running shape (or not?) ;)

Me neither - in terms of score it's going to be an absolute bloodbath, but in terms of fun (as so many of my old franchise players/legends get to the hardwood at the same time after such a long break), it's something to look for for sure! :)

In what time this match actually took place (your time)? (133714147) For me it shows up as 18.3.2025 10AM.

This is the million-dollar question as any time chosen will be favourable to some and frustrating to others.

Wagner? I know you want a set time, but how will you choose it given the numerous time-zones to contend with?

It is a question without a perfect answer as it's always a compromise of some sort. However, I'd like to remind that not even apparently suitable/optimal time (such as afternoon) isn't necessarily optimal for a given manager, as we all have different life situations, rhytms, and so on.
I also still think that benefits of applying a fixed time for match outweighs the negatives. It is also a case, that we could apply this rule for fixed times for Season 1 at least, and consider during the season if we should abandon it or not.

While not one time will be perfect for all, one of the things to consider when considering fixed time is the location and amount of teams in a location. If I got it right, this is the breakdown of HGL.
USA and South America: 3+2=5 teams
Australia: 2 teams
Europe: 9 teams.
As you can see, over 56% of teams are located in Europe within 2 time zones, and rest are scattered throughout the world.

For most countries it is easy to say in which time zone manager resides (for example I'm in a time zone EET, which is GMT+2 during Standard Time, not Daylight Savings Time).
For countries such as USA and Australia (total of 5 managers) we would have to ask those managers in which time zone they reside in order to be able to create a proper standard for them. If needed, I or someone else can send them BBMail about it?

In the next post I will provide a simple breakdown on time zones, based on (hopefully) reliable information, please correct if I'm wrong.

So, here is a quick breakdown of time zones of teams participating in HGL, please correct me if I'm wrong.
I intend to use "normal time" in this, and not Daylight Savings Time, DST.

In a list first number is how team relates to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) and second number is how it relates to Eastern European Time, EET, which is the key here as it's used as a reference point in seeing how changes in official match time will affect all, and when matches start local time.

For example I'm in Finland in a time zone EET, which is GMT+2 (during Standard Time, not Daylight Savings Time). Therefore my marking in the table is +2/0. So in order to determine actual starting time in your country, you just reduce or add the second number (in the case of Les Gueux du Marais for instance number would be -1) from the starting time that is the official start time of HGL matches Eastern European Time, EET.

But as you see, these starting times have already counted for your convenience - however, I'd ask to let me know if some faults are being spotted in the table below (in terms of numbers and times before team names).

For countries residing over multiple time zones, I've contacted managers in question to find our actual time zones where their team resides (and not made any guesses).


(Rest of the post was written earlier and isn't especially meaningful anymore at this point, but it is left here as a future reference):
For teams in USA I believe numbers would range from GMT-5 to GMT -8, and later reference numbers from -7 to -10.

For teams in Australia on the other hand, same numbers should be from GMT+8 to GMT+10, and reference numbers can vary from +6 to +8, if I am not mistaken.

In addition to that, as I mentioned earlier, for me all your official BB league matches in your team schedule this season seem to have started 10AM. Is this really the case in Australia, that they start in the morning? In Finland the regular time is usually 16.30, or 4.30PM.

On the other hand if we still assume schedule shows to me the local time when match has been played, and convert your match start times with the logic of what I just wrote that when Finland is GMT+2 and Australia from GMT +8 to +10, then matches would start in Australia 10AM minus 6 or 8 hours, so at 2AM or at 4AM, which wouldn't make any sense.

So maybe I could conclude, that matches start in Australia (where you MrJ are located at least) 4PM, and for some reason to me BB shows in your schedule in my local, Eastern European time, when match has been actually played. Can you confirm your BB league matches start at 4PM in the afternoon, and are you located in Western parts of Australia, on GMT+8 time zone?
