1st season review on div 1

Teams goals on 1st year on division 1 was: 1)Develop the teams talented big men and 2 of them they are already part of the U21 NT. We had to sell Papanagiotou to get some guard training, and it was tough decision, but Karalikos is great PF (not NT material still great player), Gagalatos is the PF/C and Yiannakakos our future. 2) Get in to the play offs, and we did it even by luck couz Marinaki left in the middle of the season so its complete 3)Upgrade our arena as much as we could. 10.000 sits and a new upgrade is coming.4) Beat Valentino. We lost every game from him, except the last 1. Our rivalry is long from div II. That win shows also how much better the team has become.

For the play offs we dont expecting anything couz we have the bad luck to be on the same division with the 2 best teams of div I.

Finally we want to welcome our new SG Luis Chávez, that will give to the team an other dimension and will make us less predictable on the offense. For the next season the goals are the same, and we hope that the investment on the draft to pay off, giving us a young talented big men to train. If not we will try to buy 1 from the market, insisting on the Cypriot players, couz NT is really important for us.

P.S. We want to wish our future hall of famer the best on his new career, and we glad that his staying in Cyprus. We are sure that Tassos will make great work with his training.
