Looks like that the key game on our 2nd championship was again against the same team
(117369) Passif Agressifs as on our 1st run. We beat them on the overtime. The 2nd game was much easier than we where expecting. BC teammate
(117403) didnt start his best big men, either by accident either to protect them for the finals,it doesnt matter. History is written on facts and the fact is that we won relative easily.
Now the finals. Everybody thought that we where the clear cut favorite, but the 1st game even if the ratings where showing that we are the best team, we lost. We where really pissed, because we know that we are the best team, but we didnt got upset. We knew that the ''old school'' run and gun will do the job as it happened.
On the 2nd game of finals we did what common sense said. Run!. We lost the rebounds by wide margin but as we very will know inside tactics is hard to work without the proper guards but Megalonisos paid the bad shape of his PG/SF. . The win came relative easily, and Delpeuch showed why we payed 4.3M to buy him.
On the 3rd game we didnt have any reason to change anything, but the opponent got the huge risk to play 1-3-1 zone. Well it was a huge mistake too. He gave up the only real advantage that he had. Rebounds. That forced Takoric to make lots of fouls early, and of course we took the advantage of it. With him on foul troubles early and the strange decision from the opponent to not play a single minute Montemayor (an other huge tactical mistake). The result? 95-109, that could be even greater if our-end of the bench-players didnt came in.
Seems that Jason even if his team is much more seasoned compared to ours have lots to learn, and we are willing to teach if he wants. As we several times stated the growing of the community is our 1st priority, so we are invite him to join our good company that we built with
(117415) Ekleptismenoi,
(117445) BROS456,
(117474) Pistoleroi.
As for our future plans? As always community is coming 1st, we want to make it better and bigger. 2nd, Repeat our run, with double this time, and 3rd we plan to be Steve Makis successor as the next NT coach. We think that is time the Cypriots to get there fate on there hands, as Ekleptismenos most probably will be the next U21 coach.
