Press Announcements

Another Ploom

Delta 9 management has made another move. This time two brothers have been reunited. On Thursday, 23 year old Edmund Ploom was picked up off waivers. Said his brother Markko: "I can't believe it. This is a dream come true. etc. etc."
In order to make room on the roster, PG Rolando Dossobuono has been released. "We hate to see him go - he's a fine young player, but we felt the need to shuffle the roster up with draft day approaching. Our long term plan is to have an all-American backcourt ... the fact that Rolando is Italian is the reason why we made the move - if our fans want American players, then that's what we'll give 'em. We wish Rolando and his family the best and we thank him for all the hard work he put in to make Delta 9 a better team. Without Rolando, we might not have made it out of division IV last year ..."
