Shouldn't it be illegal to have NT players in div 2??

I'm just hoping to make it to game 3 at this stage.

Yeah, well he did bring in Zare for the finals. There is some debate at present around changing how long a player should be on your team before playing in finals. An argument I'm sure you've heard before Bryce.

I know you don't broadcast your moves much if ever, mate, but when are you thinking of making a move back to ABBL?

You are dominating in Heaven...

...having achieved almost everything there is to achieve in Australia, the ABBL-Heaven double must be on the cards at some point? Or even ABBL-Heaven-CUP?

Enticing at all?

Yeah, been watching you slowly move into the finals. Feaunati looks good. Nice to see you training guards for once

I got my young Irish PG onto Ireland's U21 and my Belgium Rookie, currently 19, is being prepared with the Belgium Coach's support. So, happy with that.

My 7'3" Aussie, Hunter, will hopefully get onto the team a year after your guy.

Anyway, off to take the missus to work.
Say hello to yours for me and enjoy the start of the holidays eh?

I think it's ok as it is, maybe extend it one extra week before the playoffs. It's a high risk strategy that doesn't always work, if you miss can cost a lot of $.

I know you don't broadcast your moves much if ever, mate, but when are you thinking of making a move back to ABBL?

Hopefully within the next three seasons, if not next season, the one after that, and if not that one the one after that!

...having achieved almost everything there is to achieve in Australia, the ABBL-Heaven double must be on the cards at some point? Or even ABBL-Heaven-CUP?

Do you mean winning all four in the one season? Nah, better to have one good team when the other's bad and vice versa.

Yeah, bringing in the big salary players is always a risk; however, this is a game and I like that it's an option if that's how you want to play it. It also means for those of us who don't use that strategy, and who find ourselves at the top at the end of a season, we have to be mindful one of the other teams might make that move. I like this. Builds experience and it's within the game parameters.

Good to hear you are within a few seasons of going back.

Yeah, I guess I meant the four. To be honest, you might not plan to do it, but it's definitely something you may likely do anyway. Your Utopian team looks strong currently and should still be strong when your ABBL team gets back. Who knows. I just thought it interesting to contemplate and wondered whether you had.

If anyone ever does manage to do it, my money it's you.

Anyway, mate...good luck for Season 69.

EDIT: spelling

Maybe you can be the first home grown team to do it

If you're willing to wait 15 season (I just added 5 more season to my previous estimate based on the notion of that possibility), then yeah, maybe...

Seriously though, no HG team has yet to claim a Div 1 title. That is enough of a long-term goal than what you are suggesting, mate!

G'day all, sorry for crashing your page.
For those of you who don't know me I'm the current National Team manager for Aus (thanks for the recent re-election). I'm going to pop this message into a lot of the league boards seeking some feedback. I'd like to set up a bit of a think tank about what a "modern" National team build/squad/training plan might look like to help push our National team a little higher. I think it's fair to say despite having a reasonable squad in terms of what had traditionally been the desired builds for a National player we're not getting over the line in some wins I feel we should, so I'm looking to do some knowledge gathering in the off-site forum and brainstorm how we can push the National team a little higher in the rankings and win some silverware again.

If you'd like to be involved shoot me a DM (or if you are already linked into the off-site for the National Team jump on and share your ideas).
I've started posting some skill sets of National Team players from other sides as they come up for sale in the off-site forums to get a comparison of what some of the more recently successful nations are doing just for a point of reference.

Would love some feedback.

Good luck this season!

Deano
