Red Horse Beermen Front Office were all smiles when the final buzzer sounded in a well played ball game by the Beermen over the Pinoy Ako in the jam packed Red Horse Arena.
Herman Botnan once again exhibited his basketball prowess on both ends of the court scoring a team high 17 points, 7 boards, 3 assists, a steal and a couple of shot blocks in 31 minutes of play. Another notable performance for the Beermen came from the rising star - Johnas Dispo. Dispo overshadowed his counterpart, Scottie Alford, who was disqualified due to fouling out very early in the game. This game marked the worst performance yet by Alford. Overall, the Beermen played well as a team beating the Pinoy Ako in every aspect of the game.
Johnas Dispo started the game aggressively as he scored the first two points of the game via free throw. "Honestly, seeing those NT guys played yesterday elevated my game. Playing along with them for our country is a different story. For now, I'm trying my best to improve my skills and to help my mother ball club gain more fans and win championship." Dispo told in an interview.
Meanwhile, the Red Horse Beermen fans enjoyed the newly renovated Red Horse Arena. A tweet from the Team Owner Esmund Jay Santos for all the Red Horse Beermen fans, "It is our mission to give you, our fans, a better quality of entertainment inside our Arena. We're just returning the favor. We're sorry that we can't accommodate all of you who wanted to watch and enjoy the game live inside the Arena and at the same time, to see your favorite players up close and personal, but as you can see, we are currently putting up more seats in the hopes of holding more fans. The more fans cheering for our squad, the better our chances of winning. Lastly, i would like to thank you everyone for your continuous support to our team, we badly needed it!"
