The Beermen continues their winning streak and completes the sweep over the Big 8 conference teams after they beat the Snappy, 119-103.
Trailing by a point towards the end of the first half, the Beermen struggled to cross the ball over the half court line - a weakness exploited by the home team. However, the Snappy failed to convert as many turnover points thus left them tired and were way behind the scoreboard. The Beermen on the other hand avoided further turnovers and secured long passes for easy lay-ins.
Although their weakness exposed, the Beermen answered back by contesting every shots and by controlling the boards hence limiting the opponents second chance points. The Beermen out-rebounded the Snappy 54-26.
Coach Huck Finn of the Beermen has his worries on the team's turnover. "This exposes the weakness of the team and therefore will be used against us. Of course any team can defeat us, and this just add our chance of losing." said coach Huck Finn. "This is the first time that I saw my team commits as many turnovers, and that really bothers me. I'll review the tape and will formulate on how to break this kind of defense." he added.
