The Beermen Wins Anew

It was an easy win for the Beermen as they go head to head against the Ashfall. The Beermen need not to employ their home court advantage to defeat the visiting team.

Kiril Gichev, who lead all scorer with 27 big points, started in place of the injured Chow Qingwei. "I came out today to play to convince coach Huck Finn that I deserve to be in the first 5. I've been in this league seasons now and I also worked hard to improve my game." he said. Gichev also had 9 rebounds, 4 assists and a shot blocked. Coming off the bench, Vuk Moravčević also had a big night scoring a double-double performance with 15 points and 10 rebounds.

The win gave the Beermen their 8th win. However, the ticket sales continue to drop. "We do our share in building a larger home-based fans by winning enough games. With still empty seats, the management should also do their part. Maybe they should roll back the ticket prices because I believe they increased it too much." coach Huck Finn said when asked about the arena attendance. "I think we can easily win games if we play with larger crowd cheering loudly for our team." he ended.

The Scores:
Ashfall - 71. Cheng Xing 18, Masobello 18, Yen Sean 14, bin Kamarudin 11, Thibodeaux 10, Presnilla 0, Šutý 0.

Red Horse Beermen - 105. Gichev 27, Brochian 15, Moravčević 15, Botnen 12, Dispo 12, Batang 9, Romallosa 9, Dingzong 6, Tambalo 0.

The Quarters: 12-27, 31-54, 49-85, 71-105.
