Season 24 opens up, Beermen Landed in League II.4

Tagged as the "League of Death", the Beermen won't be expecting any warm welcome from the league mainstays and should prepare for the worst otherwise.

On the other hand, the Red Horse Beermen management announced in a press conference held in their newly built conference hall that they are not in a hurry to play in the PPL. The main issue right now for them is their financial status. Last season, the club's bank statement went into red sometime in the middle of the season and almost filed bankruptcy. As of today, their economy is running in the black but the management expressed to lessen their expenses and that includes purchasing of good players. "Our goal for this season is to stay in this league and collect as much revenue as we can." said coach Huck Finn. "Team improvement will be planned next season but may will come earlier if necessary." he added.

Meanwhile, the Beermen fans vowed to support the team and are willing to accept whatever result the Season 24 will bring.

League 2.4 teams are raring to welcome Dispo the so called savoir of the Pilipinas NT team. Everyone wants a shot in playing against the "Anointed One" to see how good he is really in league 2. Expect lots of fireworks when Dispo comes to visit various arena around league 2.4. Hopefully no one will be carted away into an ambulance when the game ends.
