Red Horse Arena - "Break a Leg, Beermen!" the fans chant as they show their support to their beloved team. Spearheaded by their controversial coach, Huck Finn, the Beermen literally broke a leg of Xoán Parias - a new recruit of the Tandems.
There's still 7 minutes 14 seconds left in the first quarter when Xoán Parias tried a driving lay-up over Dennis Batang of the Beermen. The latter fouled Parias hard in the air which causes the offensive player to lose balance and therefore injuring himself as he hit the ground. Dennis Batang was called for a flagrant foul for that matter.
The lose of Xoán Parias hurt the line-up of the Owone Tandem as their back-up point guard didn't delivered what Xoán Parias could have possibly contributed to his team.
On the other hand, Johnas Dispo went crazy in this game and scored a game high 43 points of a 42.5 percent field goal percentage, his second consecutive game surpassing 40 point mark. "Thanks to the tight defense and effort to alter my shot of Peter Franklin Hebiong, I might have scored 80 points!" Dispo showing his lighter side.
Coach Huck Finn was cornered by the reporters gamely answered their queries but refuses to answer when asked about the tangled between him and other co-managers including the favorite NT standout Dabandan, instead he thanked those fans who watched the game live inside the Red Horse Arena. The crowd present was relatively larger than the previous home game and also the highest attendance since the management decided to increase the ticket price.
Beermen's next match is against the 4th seed - Snapy of the Big 8 conference, the game date marks the end of inter-conference matches of the Season.
