A Milestone For Johnas Dispo

Though this was not his first time to play in an international court as he was also a member of the Pilipinas U21 team that finishes next to China last season, Johnas Dispo played his first ever National Team game against the Pakistan National Team at the age of 22.

Dressed as a substitute to a more experienced and a better player - Francisco Abada, Johnas Dispo's minutes were limited. He scored only 2 points and recorded 1 block in 7 minutes of play. "You can't expect him to score many baskets at this point of time in his NT career, he was selected to play in our National Team for experience purposes, but with proper training, who knows he might be the next go-to-guy of our National Team in his future games." coach Huck Finn told the press."I thought i was watching the game at a Luxury Box, not that I was complaining about my minutes but I really enjoyed watching the best players both countries have to offer playing against each other. I'll have to work harder if I wanted to play more minutes, it can wait."Johnas Dispo when interviewed by the reporters. "I also want to take this opportunity to thank my mentors, PH-cezzz and Lolo Smithz for trusting in me and for enhancing my skills. I'll never be in this position if it not for them. I won't disappoint you and will always follow your advices. Many thanks!" he continued, "And to all the Filipino fans, please continue supporting our national teams, be patient and be ready when we conquer the World!" ended Dispo.

The whole of the Red Horse Beermen Team and coaching staff came to watch the game live and were seen screaming at the top of their lungs when Johnas Dispo scored his only field goal of the game.
