Beermen Crowned League III.15 Champions

The whole of Beermen fans were rejoicing as their team swept the Ninuno Gods in their best-of-three championship duel. A league III first-timer Beermen ended the series in two games.

Determined to finish the series in their home court, the Beermen quickly has gotten the lead over the Ninuno Gods after trailing by 6 points early in the first quarter and found themselves leading 19-28 at the end of the first quarter. Good team plays and a little bit of luck in getting the second chance points stretched the Beermen lead at the half, 38-59.

The Ninuno Gods started the third quarter with a points galore and have successfully suppressed the Beermen offense. However, the Ninuno Gods failed to secure the boards which the Beermen converted into points. The Beermen still in the lead after three quarters, 65-79.

Streak shooting of the Ninuno Gods narrowed the gap to just 6 points in the final quarter. The celebration was short live as the momentum shifted back to the Beermen. The Beermen never looked back since then.
