Despite sitting Johnas Dispo and Herman Botnen due to foul trouble, the Beermen handed the Novayaners their 7th defeat in an inter-conference match held in front of the 7849 speectators.
Another name came up big for the Beermen. This time, Chen Dingzong, a native of China exploded for the Beermen leading all scorers with 20 points. He grabbed a rebound, stole the ball twice, blocked a shot and wowed the crowd with an amazing pass. Kiril Gichev also contributed big as he added 15 points, 9 boards, 6 assists and three steals.
The Novayaners put up a fight on the first two quarters not until the Beermen pulled away on the second half of the game. Hieronim Janka of the Novayaners out-rebounded his match up with 22 rebounds. He also had a team high with 14 points. The newly acquired Novayaners Miroslav Bisák also had a 14 points to his statline togeher with 3 rebounds, an assist and a steal.
Among the big 3 of the Beermen, only Ben Brochian scored a double digits with 12 points. He also had 9 rebounds, 2 steals, assist and block with 1 apiece in 25 minutes of play. Herman Botnen and Johnas Dispo played 15 minutes and 19 minutes respectively were sidelined due to foul trouble early in the game. "If those two guys play this kind of game on our next game, our winning streak will surely end!" said coach Huck Finn.
