The Beermen Extended Their Winning Streak to 4

The Beermen defeated the Nowitzki & Hasselhoff Inc. to bag their 4th consecutive win of the season in front of a capacity crowd at the Red Horse Arena, 91-115 final score.

"No offense to the manager of Nowitzki & Hasselhoff Inc. but it's like three against five" said coach Huck Finn referring to the quality of players both team have inside the playing court. "Thanks to the good scouting done by our staff, the opposing team's offense became predictable and that gave us the upper hand in both our offense and defense." he added. Herman Botnen who had a team high 27 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists, a steal and a block received chanting from the crowd throughout the game. "I'm deeply flattered by the gesture of the fans, I can't believe I'll received such recognition in this arena considering that I'm still new to this team and still in the process of adjustment." quoted Herman Botnen. "We're lucky to have Herman Botnen in our team, he's very capable and can play a lot of offense!" praised by coach Huck Finn.

The Beermen exploited the mismatch under the basket since the beginning of the game. But the Nowitzki & Hasselhoff Inc. answered through their outside shot. Johnas Dispo has been struggling in both offense and defense all game long. "I played hard every time I step on the court, I fought hard on both offense and defense.... Well, even the best have their downs sometimes." smiled Johnas Dispo. Adonis Janugap ate Johnas Dispo on both ends of the court. "I give credit to the kid, even if Adonis Janugap has beaten him on their match-up, Johnas Dispo completely shut him down in the 4th quarter when it mattered the most. If not for his heroic deeds, the result might be the other way around." coach Huck Finn defended the young cager's terrible night.

The fans came piling up at the Red Horse Arena and were thrilled to see two Pilipinas NT member playing against each other, Johnas Dispo of the Red Horse Beermen and Lyndon de la Peña of the Nowitzki & Hasselhoff Inc. The crowd were awed by the jaw-dropping play-making skill of Lyndon de la Peña who scored 18 points along with 7 assists, a steal and a rebound.

The Beermen dominated the rebound and assist department which helped the Beermen win over the visiting team. The inside fire power of the Beermen proved to be more superior than the outside scoring of the Nowitzki & Hasselhoff Inc.

The Score:
Nowitzki & Hasselhoff Inc. - 91. Janugap 34, de la Peña 18, Capalla 15, Pecson 7, Duano 6, Naig 5, Coloma 4, Ramos Jr. 2.
